For fans of Classic Rock, Led Zep. AC/DC. Guns N'Roses, Def Leppard, Deep Purple
The West Midlands No.1 Teen Rock Band!
JAYLER play a mix of their own material and covers.
The latest single, Piece In Our Time, is a selling fast and is available on all streaming platforms and ITunes.
The Future of Rock is in Safe Hands…
…with a hand grenade thrown in for good measure.
JAYLER was founded in March 2022. First through a
chance meeting between James and Tyler in
November 2021, hence the band name.
James was already performing solo gigs and Tyler
needed a stage to sharpen his already razor-sharp
axe. After several open mics, a strong friendship
began to form, and a certain type of chemistry
began to bubble, the explosive kind!
The hunt was now on to find a bassist and a
drummer with the same passions, extreme talent,
and rock ‘n’ roll energy to match the duo.
First came Oscar on bass, then Ed on drums
finalising an awesome range of musicianship to
rival any established band which is amazing given
their ages James, Tyler and Ed being 17 and Oz just
16.
Each member has an eclectic range of influences
and can play several instruments giving them an
unbeatable understanding of the music they
perform and each other’s role, not only a range of
well-known rock covers, but a range of originals
also being developed.
The Band
James Bartholomew
Lead Vocals/Guitar/BV
Jay has been playing guitar after he saw the music
video to ‘If you want blood’ by AC/DC. Other influences
are Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard and Slash.
Tyler Arrowsmith
Guitar/BV
Tyler has been rocking the guitar for 6 years and
loves to put on a show. He’s a huge fan of classic
rock and is massively influenced by Eddie Van
Halen, Angus Young and David Gilmour.
Oscar ‘Oz’ Brooks
Bass/Vocals/BV
Oz started to play musical instruments at the age of
12. From classic rock and jazz to modern day metal,
Oz’s influences include Soundgarden, Queens of the
Stone Age and Megadeth
Ed Evans
Drums/BV
Ed mainly plays drums, guitar and bass. He likes many
different genre’s of music but was inspired by Catfish
and the Bottlemen, Coldplay, Nothing but Thieves, Jimi
Hendrix, Stevie Wonder and many other influences.
Personally recommended by Attic DJ Mark Stockwell, who features JAYLER a lot on his show,
and has seen them perform live many times!
