Originally from Wrexham in North Wales, Chris emigrated to Scotland in 1982 and has been active in the Scottish folk scene since the 1990s. A former member of Kagan and three-time winner of the Edinburgh Folk Club’s annual songwriting competition, Chris is committed to a philosophy of “free music for free thinkers”.
