It's amazing how you can experience situations throughout your life that are so heartbreaking or stressful that you can't imagine ever being okay again...the a few weeks, months or even years later you notice the days go by without you thinking about those times. You laugh ,you smile ,you go about your day and realize you're stronger and happier than you thought you could ever be. Those bad times may always be in your mind...but you feel at peace, and the memories that come back don't punch you in the heart like they used too. You realize that you are, in fact strong and that you did get through what you went through. Isn't it amazing how much we can change, how much we can learn...and how much we can grow !!!
Your impact on others is bigger than you think...someone somewhere still giggles when they think of that funny thing you said. Someone still smiles when they think of that compliment you gave them...someone silently admires you...the advice you give makes a difference to alot of people...the support and love you offered others has made someone's day. Your input and opinions have made someone think twice...you're not insignificant and forgotten . Your existence makes a positive difference whether you see it or not !!!
In the end all the small things makes a huge difference...every step is crucial. Life isn't about a single moment of great triumph...it's about trails and errors that slowly get you there. The blood, sweat ,tears and the small inconsequential things you do on a day to day basis. It all matters in the end...every step, every regret, every decision, every minor setback and miniscule win. All of this has strengthened you . All of this has led you to every success you've ever had, all of this has made you who you are today, and all of this proves that you have the strength to deal with the challenges that are infront of you !!!
Nobody's going to do your life for you...you have to do it yourself ...you have to do it no matter what is true, no matter what is hard, no matter what unjust, sad, sucky things have befallen you...self-pity is a dead end road...you make the choice to drive down it ...it's up to you to decide to stay parked there or to turn around and drive out...everything in life is up to us...we can either dwell in the heartache and pain, sorrow or sadness , or we could rise and embrace to new and open possibilities ...life is a gamble ,I'd say we take a chance and enjoy the ride !!!
